Leo
July 23 to August 22
General
New year, new you! Massive change is in the air for Leos in 2017. This will be a social year, filled with lively friendships, increasing popularity, and thrilling personal discoveries. It all begins on February 10 with a lunar eclipse in Leo — the first in a two-year series of eclipses that will activate the Leo-Aquarius axis. Eclipses reveal what's hidden in the shadows, and this bundle will awaken your highest potential, both in the personal and relationship arenas. You'll also see where you're holding yourself back — and where you're making the wrong decisions. No shame in owning your "mistakes," Leo! Self-awareness sets the stage for your success. And there will be plenty of it coming: On May 9, the moon's north node (a.k.a. the cosmic-destiny point) returns to Leo for the first time in 18 years! This cycle, which lasts until October 26, 2018, will illuminate your life path — or the important steps you need to take to get there. Feel like shouting your wins from the rooftops? Hang on, Leo. Cautious Saturn hovers in your fame and leadership zone until December 19. If you're going to debut your skills to the world, make sure you're representing like a polished pro.
Love
With cautious Saturn spending the third (or three) years in your romance house, love is like a slow-burning fire in 2017. Stability is as important as passion in 2017: You need both. Many Leos will make big plans in love this year, like moving in together, getting engaged, or even making a baby. With Jupiter in Libra until October 10, romance could arise from the friend zone. Coupled Leos might feel more like best buds than passionate lovers, but make a conscious effort to stoke the embers. Date nights, road trips, and weekend getaways will give you lots to bond over. Swipe away: This Jupiter cycle could bring a big win from dating apps before the fall. The Leo-Aquarius eclipses, which fall on February 10, August 7, and August 21, could shake things up in your romantic life. An unexpected attraction could erupt, or you could decide to take a big leap together with the one you love. Not so into it anymore? You may discover that you're no longer compatible with someone or that you need more from your mate. Careful not to make any sudden moves, though, especially while Venus is retrograde from March 4 to April 15. Your S.O. might just need a moment to catch up — or catch on! Absence can make the heart grow fonder in 2017, as long as you don't drift too far apart.
Prosperity
For the first quarter of 2017, your job is to dabble. How will you know what you love doing unless you experiment? Take one-day workshops, sign up for short-term certifications — or think about designing your own curriculum if you have a skill to teach. Partnerships can be prosperous this year, but pair up on a project-by-project basis instead of committing to a long-term joint venture. If you're comfortable with risk, try working freelance this year. Lucrative assignments can roll in — especially for Leos working in the media, marketing, PR, or education industries. With the moon's north node (destiny point) moving into Leo on May 9, this is a major year of self-discovery. You could embark on a totally new path, changing industries or going back to school. Just try not to launch anything while Mercury is retrograde in Leo from August 31 to September 5! Working with a coach or mentor can help you find the right direction — or stay on course with your goals. With Saturn in your image zone until late December, you might even pose for a sophisticated photo shoot or have a graphic designer help you develop the Leo "brand." When Jupiter heads into Scorpio for a year on October 10, you could set up a home-based business or find success by working with a talented group of women.
Wellness
Exercise ADD? With such a busy 2017, you won't have the time or patience for those 90-minute yoga classes. This year, you can still get stellar results with shorter HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts, many of which you can do in your own apartment, sans equipment. Or, blend your social goals with your fitness aspirations. Meet friends for walks instead of brunches sometimes. The CrossFit gym could become your community outpost. Nourish yourself with heart-healthy foods in 2017. Less saturated fat, more "good fats" like nuts, avocado, fish oils, and lean proteins.
