Want to know what happens when you take Italian sports brands that had their last big moment sometime in the '90s, and put their designs together for a 2016 collection? Well, during Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy's menswear presentation at the fashion fair Pitti Uomo, he reintroduced legendary sportswear labels Kappa and Fila, amongst others and they're as relevant as ever. And despite being showcased at men's fashion month, Rubchinskiy's looks don't solely work for men. While we're strong defenders of a Fila comeback, click through to find out for yourselves...

Gold chains, suits and '90s denim can all go hand in hand. Gosha Rubchinskiy combines classic logo long-sleeves and T-shirts with button-down shirts, as well as cut off jeans and sneakers with rolled-up socks.

According to Gosha Rubchinskiy, chunky gold chains worn with black and white outfits will have a comeback moment of their own too.

Paris Hilton used to model for Fila during the 00s and even went on a promotional tour through South Korea repping the brand.

The brand was founded by two brothers in Northern Italy in 1911. Initially, the Fila brothers focussed on underwear.

Sportswear became more relevant during the 1970s, especially brought to fame by celebrities, such as tennis player Björn Borg.

A must – then and now: the 90s inspired bucket hat that has been popular again for a few seasons now.

Why not, then, combine it with huge hoops, a crop top and brand logos from head to toe?

Of course, there's always a simpler look to opt for too – works just fine if you ask us!

For the upcoming Ghostbusters movie, Fila teamed up with rapper Nas. The collaboration culminated in three gorgeous sneaker designs.

Fila has also teamed up with Urban Outfitters for a second time. Their joint collection is mainly – and visibly – inspired by 70s and 80s fashion, as well as the brand's historic connection to the sport of tennis.
