On March 27, the Elusive Chanteuse herself, Mariah Carey, will celebrate a birthday. What birthday will she celebrate? Well, that's debatable. According to People, she'll turn 47. Other accounts indicate she'll turn 46. Elusive, indeed.

But while we may not know the exact year of Carey's birth, we do know that she has brought us immeasurable joy in her time as a pop queen. Yes, that is partly because of her incredible vocal range and numerous hit tracks. It is also because she frequently makes us giggle.

Carey, you see, is the ultimate diva. But she is often less fearsome than funny. Is she in on the joke? Perhaps. She has climbed a StairMaster in heels. She quotes Mean Girls. She rides the subway in formalwear.

Here, we've collected some of her most LOL-worthy moments. Here's hoping her upcoming E! series brings us many, many more.

That Time She Didn't Know Jennifer Lopez (Early 2000s)

This is the shade that keeps on giving. At some point in the early 2000s, Carey was asked about Jennifer Lopez. She replied, "I don't know her." TMZ recently asked Carey what she thinks about the fact that "I don't know her" has had such a long life. Her response: "I still don't know her." Genius.

That Time She Made Glitter (2001)

Low blow, we know, but Carey's big attempt at movie stardom was pretty laughable. The New York Times called it "unintentionally hilarious."

That Time She Did The StairMaster In Four-Inch Heels (2002)

There may not be a more perfect Mariah moment than her 2002 appearance on MTV Cribs. A highlight of the episode was when Carey showed off her gym and got on the StairMaster. Her attire was not what one might deem appropriate for exercise.

"So I can stand here, look at New York, things of that nature," she said as she bobbed up and down. "All the while in my four-inch heels and a black ensemble."

In accompanying commentary, Carey insisted that she was "joking around" — and then undercut her argument. "I don't really ride the StairMaster in high heels, but I would," she said. Of course she would.

That Time She Won An Acting Award (2010)

Back in 2009, Carey shocked everyone by giving an excellent, dramatic, un-diva-like performance in Precious. In fact, she was so good she was awarded Breakthrough Actress at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. When she accepted the prize, however, she assumed full Mariah-mode. She was probably (definitely?) a little (a lot?) drunk, and fangirled over Helen Mirren.

That Time She Blamed it On The Chair (2010)

Here's the deal: It probably was the chair. If you watch this clip of Carey on HSN, you will hear a low rumbling sound that sounds less like a fart and more like a squeaky chair. But Carey hilariously preempted any judgment: "Sorry, this chair makes noise."

That Time She Couldn’t Stop Saying "Moment" (2011)

Mariah Carey loves the word "moment." She adores a fashion "moment." She needs a "moment." She says "moment" a lot during her time on HSN. This supercut is a record of that moment.

That Time She Started Dembabies.com (2011)

After the birth of her twins, Monroe and Moroccan, Carey unleashed Dembabies.com on the world. The site is a glorious digital scrapbook for everyone to see. Naturally, the butterfly motif is strong.

That Time She Challenged Nicki Minaj’s Mean Girls Knowledge (2013)

Carey is a huge fan of Mean Girls. So much so that when she was a judge on American Idol, she quizzed Nicki Minaj on the movie. Carey said, "I wanna lose three pounds," and then tested Minaj's knowledge by asking her to name the character who uttered that line. (It's Regina George. Duh.)

That Time She Made Slings A Thing (2013)

A dislocated shoulder put Carey in a sling, but it didn't cramp her style. Instead, she busted out a series of gorgeous, glamorous, completely over-the-top contraptions. However, she insisted in an interview with E! that the sling was "not a fashion statement." Well, when life gives you lemons, make studded lemonade.

That Time She Named Her Album Me. I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse (2014)

What a beautifully ridiculous name for an album. In a video, Carey explained that the first part of the name came from a childhood drawing of hers. The "Elusive Chanteuse" was apparently what people were calling her in 2014.

That Time She Rode The Subway In Formalwear (2014)

If a diva must ride the subway, she should ride the subway in a shimmering gown with a very high slit.

That Time Her Child Was Dragged Off Of Her (2015)

Receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a big honor for a celebrity. But as Carey posed pristinely with her award, her children, Monroe and Moroccan, decided to crash the photo shoot. Moroccan has to be pulled away from his mother. Carey continued to pose, not missing a beat.

That Time She Starred In A Video Game Ad (2015)

Carey replaced Kate Upton in the ads for Game of War. Because when you think medieval battlefield, you think Mariah Carey. Obviously, this is meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but the sight of Carey in armor is something to behold.

That Time She Worked From Bed (2015)

Carey captioned this photo: "Working from bed...sometimes you have to make the voice-over studio come to YOU." That guy in the front doesn't look super amused.

That Time She Was Wheeled To The Stage (2016)

Because walking is for peasants, not Mariah Carey.
