There are certain privacy problems that celebrities have been faced with for decades. The constant presence of paparazzi and the never-ending relationship rumour mill are just two examples.
But the newest and biggest problem for bold-faced named in the 21st century is internet hacking. It can happen via email and the mysterious cloud, like with Kendall and Adele, or through everyone's favourite social media platforms, like Twitter.
And on Twitter , no one is off-limits. Celebrities ranging from President Obama to Lady Gaga to Lil Wayne have all been hacked throughout the years since the site's debut on March 21, 2006.
So, in honour of Twitter's decade on the web, we rounded up the 16 biggest celebrity hacks that have happened on the platform. Makes you think twice about having your dog's name or "Password123" as your go-to security blockade, doesn't it?

Britney Spears , November 2009
We're just going to assume that Spears does not pray to Satan or Lucifer, nor does she "hope that the new world order will arrive as soon as possible!" In addition to the tweets, the hacker also changed the singer's page background to Illuminati-themed wallpaper. A few months prior to this hack, someone else tweeted from the singer's account that she had died . Fortunately, this was untrue.

This hack involved a well-thought-out anagram. The tweet from Stone's old account (she doesn't have one anymore) read: "nawder nad islasehne tsintgi ni a erte" which, when unscrambled, translates to: "Andrew and Shailene sitting in a tree." The tweet was meant to allude to a split between Stone and her boyfriend Andrew Garfield, which was untrue.

Somerhalder has been married since January 2015 to actress Nikki Reed, but he previously dated his Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev. The hacker was apparently a fan of Somerhalder's ex and tweeted out a short "i love you" to Dobrev from the actor's account. Somerhalder responded after the tweet telling everyone to have a good night, proving it is possible to be a good sport about a pointless hack.

Shortly after being named Blackberry's Global Creative Director, Keys sent out a tweet of a Drake lyric, but that wasn't the problem. The issue was at the bottom of the tweet, where a little message read: "via Twitter for iPhone." Oops. Keys claimed she was hacked, saying she likes Drake, but that "wasn't my tweet :-(."

Swift's hackers had one goal: to get more followers. Once they broke into the singer's Twitter account, they immediately tweeted links to their personal accounts to her millions of followers. The two users also threatened to share nudes of Swift, but she clapped back (once she recovered her account) with a tweet saying: "PS any hackers saying they have 'nudes'? Psssh you'd love that wouldn't you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING." Mic drop.

Amid rumours that Kutcher had sparked a new romance, someone hacked the actor's account and tweeted, "First official sleepover with my girl @lorenescafaria so maybe breakfast with everyone next time! (@ Lorene's House)." Kutcher immediately fired back on Twitter that he would find the prankster, and that he now had the hacker's address through a turn of events. No word on whether Kutcher actually found the culprit.
